<\/a>Create a new NFT Collection\u200b<\/strong><\/h2>\nBefore creating\/minting NFTs you need to create a Smart Contract which will define your NFT Collection. On NFTs2Me you have three ways to create a new NFT Project:<\/p>\n
\n- Editions (1 artwork – multiple NFTs)<\/strong>. The easiest<\/strong> way to start. Using Editions you can create an NFT collection where all the NFTs will share the same artwork. It also allows you to create the artwork using Artificial Intelligence in case you don\u2019t have the artwork yet.<\/li>\n
- Drops (n artworks – n NFTs)<\/strong>. Do you already have the images for each NFT? Using Drops you can choose different images for each NFT.<\/li>\n
- Generative Art (combination of artworks).<\/strong> This is the advanced<\/strong> mode. Using the Generative Art editor you\u2019ll be able to combine image layers (even using PSD) to generate thousands of different NFTs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Let\u2019s create an Edition Project.<\/p>\n
\n- If you haven\u2019t done it already, press on \u201cConnect Wallet\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

\n- Set a \u201cProject Name\u201d<\/strong>. This will be used for the name of your NFTs.<\/li>\n
- Set a \u201cToken Symbol\u201d<\/strong>. This will be the NFT collection symbol.<\/li>\n
- Set a \u201cProject Description\u201d<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- Add a new ‘token media,’ which can be an image, audio, or video (you can also press on \u201cGenerate Artwork using AI to create an image using AI from the project name and description).<\/li>\n
- Specify a \u201cMinting Fee\u201d<\/strong>. It will be the price that the user has to pay to mint the NFT and you\u2019ll receive for each mint, set 0 for \u201cfree minting\u201d. By default it is set on native ETH. If you prefer to set the price using an ERC-20 like USDC, you can press on \u201cETH\u201d and choose a different token.<\/li>\n
- Set the \u201cEdition Size\u201d<\/strong>. This will be the maximum number of NFTs that can be minted for the collection.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

A new generic Minting Page with your own custom subdomain has been created for you. You can customize its address and aspect from the Dashboard in the Mint Settings tab.<\/p>\n
\u26a0\ufe0f IMPORTANT:<\/strong> When creating a collection, the one who deploys it will be the owner (i.e. you). You\u2019ll receive an ownership NFT. The owner of that NFT is the owner of the collection. This can be very useful, as you could even sell the collection (including the fees you receive from primary sales and royalties). But if you transfer that NFT, you\u2019ll lose control of the collection!<\/p>\n<\/a>Mint an NFT from your new Minting Page<\/h2>\nWhen you deployed the Smart Contract for your NFT project, a dedicated Minting Page was automatically created for you.<\/p>\n
To customize it, go to your Project’s Dashboard and navigate to the “Minting Page”<\/strong> tab, located right below “Overview”<\/strong>. Here, you’ll find various customization options to personalize your page:<\/p>\nBasic Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Collection URL.<\/strong> You can change and set your own custom subdomain for the Minting page. There are different domains to choose from.<\/li>\n
- Collection Name<\/strong> and Collection Description<\/strong>. By default the Project Name and Project Description will be the one you set on the creation, but you can change it at any time. Note that this doesn’t change the contract information (which is mostly immutable), but only the minting page information shown to your users.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Congratulations! You\u2019ve got your first NFT created by you! That\u2019s it! You have your brand new NFT collection and one NFT minted from that collection.<\/p>\n
In a real case scenario you wouldn\u2019t buy the NFT to yourself, but rather share the Minting Page link to your users for them to mint. However, you may want to get an NFT from your collection, but it doesn\u2019t make much sense to pay for it, right? So, what do we do? Airdrops! \ud83e\ude82<\/p>\n
<\/a>Get Featured in the Ink Trending Collections<\/h2>\nHighlight your collection on our Ink Top<\/a> to increase attraction and mints.\u00a0The Trending Projects<\/em> page on NFTs2Me helps collectors discover popular NFT collections across multiple chains, including both mainnets and testnets. This ranking showcases active projects with real engagement, making it an essential tool for visibility.<\/p>\nTo appear on the trending list, a collection must have at least two real mints and two real holders<\/strong>\u2014airdrops or free distributions do not count.\u00a0This ensures collectors find relevant, high-quality NFTs with real activity.<\/p>\nCheck out the Ink Top collections<\/a><\/strong> or read more about the trending system in our documentation<\/a><\/strong> to maximize your project’s exposure!<\/p>\n<\/a>Send a soulbound Airdrop<\/h2>\nAn Airdrop is a way to send NFTs to the desired address or addresses for free. It may be similar to Whitelist, but it doesn\u2019t have to be.<\/p>\n
In the case of Airdrops you send the NFTs directly to the users. They have to do nothing to receive them. In the case of Whitelists, the users have to mint the NFT, which can be at a customized price or even for free. But they are the ones doing the minting. Both Airdrops and whitelists can be very useful to use as a reward to encourage the most active members of your community. You can even take a list of addresses got from a previous allowlist and upload to the Dashboard to allow the OG or whitelisted users to mint before the rest.<\/p>\n
This is useful in a bunch of cases:<\/p>\n
\n- You want to keep one NFT for yourself before you open the Drop Date (the date when the mint begins).<\/li>\n
- A way to send POAPs.<\/li>\n
- You want to send free (or at discount) NFTs to colleagues.<\/li>\n
- Allowlists.<\/li>\n
- \u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Keep in mind that only the collection owner can send Airdrops.<\/p>\n
BUT, there is more. NFTs2Me allows \u201cSoulbound\u201d Airdrops. Soulbound NFTs (SBT) are NFTs that can\u2019t be transferred. You can have a Soulbound collection, where NFTs can\u2019t be transferred, but you can also have a regular collection where NFTs can be transferred except for the specified when Airdropping or Whitelisting. This can be very useful if you, for instance, want to send NFTs to your friends but don\u2019t want them to resell to lower the Floor price of your collection (as they got them for free!).<\/p>\n
So, how do I send a Soulbound Airdrop?<\/strong><\/p>\nGo back to the Dashboard of your NFT Project.<\/p>\n
\n- Click on the Airdrops tab from the Dashboard menu.<\/li>\n
- Click on the toggle to change \u201cTransferable NFTs\u201d to \u201cSoulbound NFTs\u201d.<\/li>\n
- Click \u201cAdd account\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

<\/a>Create Token Gated content<\/h2>\nToken gating is a mechanism where access to certain content or benefits associated with an NFT is restricted based on whether the user holds a token from your Collection. This can be seen as a way to reward and incentivize long-term holders of an NFT, as they may be given exclusive access to features or experiences that are not available to others. Token gating provides a way to create unique and exclusive experiences for NFT holders, while also adding value to the underlying tokens themselves.<\/p>\n
TIP: Using the Token Gating tool you’ll be able to create multiple pages for different gated content. This can be used not only to offer private content to the owners of your collection, but also to create membership sites for your holders, with different sections, a great way to create a Web3 membership\/digital product.<\/p>\n
You can create a general token gating landing page as well as individual items. Every content gated item created has a public description as well as a private information.<\/p>\n
How to create Token Gated Content?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n- Go back to the Project Dashboard and click on the \u201cToken Gating\u201d tab.<\/li>\n
- First, let\u2019s create the Public Token Gating Landing Page for your Token Gated Content. This frontpage is open for everyone to see<\/strong>. Don\u2019t share any private content here. Just a name and description of what the people can expect to see in the private content gated part.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

<\/a>Activate on-chain affiliation<\/h2>\nUsing the affiliates system you’ll be able to both reward affiliates<\/strong> who help you sell your collection, as well as offer<\/strong> an optional discount<\/strong> for the end user coming from an affiliate link.<\/p>\nThe optional discount is a great way to help promote your collection<\/strong> through affiliates, as these ensure that their audience will want to use their reference.<\/p>\nYou can choose to set a general affiliation information<\/strong> (commission and user discount), but you can also set a different and custom per wallet affiliation information<\/strong> (commission and user discount). That way, you can provide special commission conditions for top affiliates.<\/p>\nIt is disabled by default:<\/p>\n

In the example, we\u2019ll offer a 50% discount for the users coming from affiliate links, and an Affiliate Commission Percentage of the 10%. The mint price will be 0.0001 ETH instead of 0.0002 ETH.<\/p>\n
\ud83d\udca1<\/a> TIPS: You can use custom affiliate links for each referrer, and let them have different affiliation values. Affiliation commission can be as high as 100% (all the benefits from their affiliate sales will go entirely to them), and the same applies for user discounts (so people coming from the affiliate link will have \u201cfree minting\u201d indeed!). Let\u2019s say you create a collection with a partner, and you want every sale coming from your partner to be 100% for him. You can just create an affiliate link for him with 100% of commission and 0% discount.<\/p>\n\u26a0\ufe0f IMPORTANT! Once fixed, you won’t be able to lower the percentages, just raise them. This is to give confidence to the referrer.<\/p>\n

Remember that you can use a Placeholder if you don\u2019t want to show the final artwork until a future point in time, or even use real on-chain Random minting to really hide the artwork from the users before they mint it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Once you\u2019ve saved your changes, click on \u201cVisit Page\u201d to open the Minting Page (step 3 on the image).<\/p>\n
That\u2019s your new Minting Page. You\u2019ll get something like this:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nClick on \u201cConnect Wallet\u201d, and the Minting option will appear if you have enough ETH to mint the NFT.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nYou can choose to Mint to another wallet or even ENS name using the \u201cMint to other Wallet\u201d option.<\/p>\n
For this example, it\u2019s enough to just click on \u201cMint\u201d, that we\u2019ll Mint an NFT for you.<\/p>\n
Confirm the transaction on MetaMask and wait until the transaction is processed on the Blockchain.<\/p>\n
Congratulations! You\u2019ve got your first NFT created by you! That\u2019s it! You have your brand new NFT collection and one NFT minted from that collection.<\/p>\n
In a real case scenario you wouldn\u2019t buy the NFT to yourself, but rather share the Minting Page link to your users for them to mint. However, you may want to get an NFT from your collection, but it doesn\u2019t make much sense to pay for it, right? So, what do we do? Airdrops! \ud83e\ude82<\/p>\n

This ranking showcases active projects with real engagement, making it an essential tool for visibility.<\/p>\n
To appear on the trending list, a collection must have at least two real mints and two real holders<\/strong>\u2014airdrops or free distributions do not count.\u00a0This ensures collectors find relevant, high-quality NFTs with real activity.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Send a soulbound Airdrop<\/h2>\n
An Airdrop is a way to send NFTs to the desired address or addresses for free. It may be similar to Whitelist, but it doesn\u2019t have to be.<\/p>\n
In the case of Airdrops you send the NFTs directly to the users. They have to do nothing to receive them. In the case of Whitelists, the users have to mint the NFT, which can be at a customized price or even for free. But they are the ones doing the minting. Both Airdrops and whitelists can be very useful to use as a reward to encourage the most active members of your community. You can even take a list of addresses got from a previous allowlist and upload to the Dashboard to allow the OG or whitelisted users to mint before the rest.<\/p>\n
This is useful in a bunch of cases:<\/p>\n

- You want to keep one NFT for yourself before you open the Drop Date (the date when the mint begins).<\/li>\n
- A way to send POAPs.<\/li>\n
- You want to send free (or at discount) NFTs to colleagues.<\/li>\n
- Allowlists.<\/li>\n
- \u2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Keep in mind that only the collection owner can send Airdrops.<\/p>\n
BUT, there is more. NFTs2Me allows \u201cSoulbound\u201d Airdrops. Soulbound NFTs (SBT) are NFTs that can\u2019t be transferred. You can have a Soulbound collection, where NFTs can\u2019t be transferred, but you can also have a regular collection where NFTs can be transferred except for the specified when Airdropping or Whitelisting. This can be very useful if you, for instance, want to send NFTs to your friends but don\u2019t want them to resell to lower the Floor price of your collection (as they got them for free!).<\/p>\n
So, how do I send a Soulbound Airdrop?<\/strong><\/p>\n
Go back to the Dashboard of your NFT Project.<\/p>\n

- Click on the toggle to change \u201cTransferable NFTs\u201d to \u201cSoulbound NFTs\u201d.<\/li>\n

- Enter the receiver address. For the example, we\u2019ll use an ENS domain: \u201cnfts2me.eth\u201d.<\/li>\n
- Specify the amount of NFTs to Airdrop (1 in the example).<\/li>\n
- Click \u201cAdd to Airdrop\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/p>\n

- Finally, check that everything is right and press \u201cSend Airdrop\u201d. In the example we have already 1 NFT minted from the previous step, 99 left, and after the Airdrop we\u2019ll have 98 NFTs left.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/p>\n
It will pop up a new transaction confirmation on Metamask. Confirm, and wait for the TX to be confirmed on the Blockchain.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ve Airdropped a Soulbound NFT that can\u2019t be transferred using an ENS domain name as receiver.<\/p>\n
<\/a>Create Token Gated content<\/h2>\n
Token gating is a mechanism where access to certain content or benefits associated with an NFT is restricted based on whether the user holds a token from your Collection. This can be seen as a way to reward and incentivize long-term holders of an NFT, as they may be given exclusive access to features or experiences that are not available to others. Token gating provides a way to create unique and exclusive experiences for NFT holders, while also adding value to the underlying tokens themselves.<\/p>\n
TIP: Using the Token Gating tool you’ll be able to create multiple pages for different gated content. This can be used not only to offer private content to the owners of your collection, but also to create membership sites for your holders, with different sections, a great way to create a Web3 membership\/digital product.<\/p>\n
You can create a general token gating landing page as well as individual items. Every content gated item created has a public description as well as a private information.<\/p>\n
How to create Token Gated Content?<\/strong><\/p>\n

- Go back to the Project Dashboard and click on the \u201cToken Gating\u201d tab.<\/li>\n
- First, let\u2019s create the Public Token Gating Landing Page for your Token Gated Content. This frontpage is open for everyone to see<\/strong>. Don\u2019t share any private content here. Just a name and description of what the people can expect to see in the private content gated part.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/p>\n

- Write a name<\/strong> for the landing page. In this case, it will be courses for cat lovers, so \u201cCat lovers courses\u201d.<\/li>\n
- Write a description.<\/strong> This is public content<\/strong> everybody will see before authenticating. In this case, it will be the course outline.<\/li>\n
- Save changes<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
- Confirm that changes were saved.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
You\u2019ve just created the landing for your gated content. After that, Let\u2019s create the first private item (e.g. First lesson of the course).<\/p>\n

Now, it\u2019s time to create the private token gated item.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s start by setting a name and URL:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nThen, set a Public Description. It\u2019s shown even before unlocking the content. This is public content that can be seen by everyone. You can use Markdown to format it. In the example, it can be the outline of the course. Everybody can see it!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nNow it\u2019s time for the private content! This is the content that will be unlocked by the holders of your NFTs. This content is private and can only be seen by the owners of your NFTs. In the example, this is the content of the course.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nYou can optionally upload an image for the item. This will also be used when shared on Social Networks.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nFinally, you can choose to group the items under groups. In the course, we\u2019ll group them by \u201cCourses\u201d, and we want it to be listed on the mainpage.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nPress on \u201cCreate Item\u201d<\/strong> to continue.<\/p>\n
You\u2019ll see your new created token gated item:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nYou can now go to your new Gated Content page (e.g. https:\/\/elegantcats.testnet.nfts2.me\/gated\/<\/a>) to see all the created information.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nWhen clicking on any of the private items, you\u2019ll only see the public information.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nConnect your wallet to be able to see the private content!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nThat’s it! You\u2019ve created your token gated community!<\/p>\n
<\/a>Activate on-chain affiliation<\/h2>\n
Using the affiliates system you’ll be able to both reward affiliates<\/strong> who help you sell your collection, as well as offer<\/strong> an optional discount<\/strong> for the end user coming from an affiliate link.<\/p>\n
The optional discount is a great way to help promote your collection<\/strong> through affiliates, as these ensure that their audience will want to use their reference.<\/p>\n
You can choose to set a general affiliation information<\/strong> (commission and user discount), but you can also set a different and custom per wallet affiliation information<\/strong> (commission and user discount). That way, you can provide special commission conditions for top affiliates.<\/p>\n
It is disabled by default:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nIn the example, we\u2019ll offer a 50% discount for the users coming from affiliate links, and an Affiliate Commission Percentage of the 10%. The mint price will be 0.0001 ETH instead of 0.0002 ETH.<\/p>\n
\ud83d\udca1<\/a> TIPS: You can use custom affiliate links for each referrer, and let them have different affiliation values. Affiliation commission can be as high as 100% (all the benefits from their affiliate sales will go entirely to them), and the same applies for user discounts (so people coming from the affiliate link will have \u201cfree minting\u201d indeed!). Let\u2019s say you create a collection with a partner, and you want every sale coming from your partner to be 100% for him. You can just create an affiliate link for him with 100% of commission and 0% discount.<\/p>\n
\u26a0\ufe0f IMPORTANT! Once fixed, you won’t be able to lower the percentages, just raise them. This is to give confidence to the referrer.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nClick on \u201cUpdate\u201d and confirm the transaction. Check it has successfully updated the affiliation information:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nAfter that, let\u2019s Generate the Affiliate Links. In the example we are generating an invite link for \u201cvitalik.eth\u201d, so every on sale done through that link \u201cvitalik.eth\u201d will receive 10% of the minting price.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nLet\u2019s click on the Affiliate Link, and now, we\u2019ll see that the minting price is discounted:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\nConnect your wallet<\/strong>, and click on \u201cMint\u201d<\/strong>. You\u2019ll see that the actual price is the discounted one. Congratulations! You\u2019ve minted an NFT at a discount price using an affiliate link. The collection owner has received 90% of the minting price, while \u201cvitalik.eth\u201d have received 10%.<\/p>\n
